Lawyer
Zaid Gawi is a Trainee Lawyer, who commenced at CFIL in 2022 as Paralegal. He holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Monash University. Zaid was admitted as a practising lawyer in March 2024.
With an immigrant background, he has a unique perspective on the importance of migration law and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by those seeking a better life in a new country. He has a strong desire to make a positive impact on those seeking migration assistance.
Zaid takes pride in his attention to detail and his ability to ensure that all clients feel comfortable when accessing the law. He enjoys practising all areas of migration law, and has assisted in matters including skilled, student, visitor visa applications as well as matters before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.
In his free time, Zaid enjoys travelling, playing music, and is an active supporter of both Melbourne City and Manchester City football clubs.
