Chris was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2011.
Chris has provided advice to clients across all visa subclasses (in particular 457, ENS and Partner visa applications). He has appeared before the Administrative Appeals Tribunal for citizenship and visa application refusals as well as visa cancellations.
Chris has also worked as a volunteer solicitor for Salvos Legal, where pro bono legal advice was offered to refugee and asylum seeker applicants as well as the International Student Legal Advice Clinic where overseas students could seek legal assistance for migration, employment and education provider related matters. In addition to his migration law experience, Chris has acted for clients in commercial, employment and criminal matters.
Prior to his admission as a solicitor, Chris served as an officer in the Royal Australian Navy where he was involved in the execution, training and management of the Navy’s involvement in Australia’s border protection operations.
Chris’ approach to the practice of law is to provide clients with practical and realistic solutions to their legal matters. He is driven by getting the best outcome possible for his clients and takes much pride in becoming part of a client’s ‘inner circle.’
