Dan grew up in Canada before immigrating permanently to Australia, where he began working in the field of migration law in July 2015. He completed a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor Ontario and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2016. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree from Carleton University in Canada.
After immigrating to Australia in 2014, Dan completed bridging courses at Monash University and was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a practicing lawyer in November 2016. After going through the migration process himself, was eager to assist others though their own migration matters.
Dan joined CFIL in May 2017 as a paralegal before transitioning into his current role as a lawyer. His experience of navigating the Australian immigration process, provides a unique insight into the opportunities and challenges of the migration system.
