Kate completed her Juris Doctor at the University of Melbourne and her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice (Practical Legal Training) at the Australian National University. Prior to that she obtained a Bachelor of Arts majoring in International Relations and Russian Language from the University of Melbourne.
Kate has considerable experience working with refugees and victims of human trafficking both in Australia and overseas. She has an interest in all areas of migration, with a particular interest in protection and humanitarian visas. Kate commenced at CFIL in 2014 as a paralegal and has since returned and been admitted as a lawyer and registered as a Migration Agent.
