Thuy was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a practising lawyer in September 2018 after completing her Bachelor of Laws at Deakin University.
Since commencing her career, she has gained significant experience across a wide range of immigration matters, from the primary application stage to complex merits and judicial appeals. She regularly advises clients on challenging issues including family pathways, visa refusals, character assessments, and visa cancellations.
Thuy’s passion for immigration law stems from her own family’s migration experience, which provides her with a unique understanding of the challenges faced by her clients. She approaches each matter with compassion, professionalism, and a strong commitment to detail and preparation, consistently striving to achieve the most favourable outcomes.
She is a Law Institute of Victoria Accredited Specialist in Immigration Law and was recognised as a finalist in the Lawyers Weekly 30 Under 30 Awards in 2024.
Thuy is fluent in Vietnamese and takes pride in supporting clients from diverse backgrounds. Outside of the law, she enjoys reading and exploring Melbourne’s coffee and food scene.
