Lawyer
With a strong sense of community, Cailyn has always sought to make an impactful contribution to those around her. During her university studies, Cailyn was a lead volunteer for several years, tutoring English at her local library to migrant children who were new to the Australian school system. Her strong commitment to advocacy led her to complete a Bachelor of Laws and Diploma in Practical Legal Training, while volunteering at Refugee Legal focusing on protection and humanitarian matters.
Cailyn joined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers in January 2025 and has experience in child, family, and student visa matters, as well as familiarity with the Administrative Review Tribunal processes. She is also involved in the Deakin University Law Students’ Society, Student-Legal Practitioner Mentoring Program, supporting law students navigate the early stages of their legal careers. Prior to joining CFIL, Cailyn worked in an in-house legal administrative role, which strengthened her legal and problem-solving skills. She is committed to making a positive contribution to the migration law sector and supporting migrants from all backgrounds.
Outside of work, Cailyn continues to tutor English to new migrants within the western suburbs. She is currently finishing her Diploma in classical piano under the Australian Music Examination Board and enjoys trying new restaurants in Melbourne.
