Associate Lawyer
Eliza first joined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers as a legal practitioner in 2021. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from Monash University. In 2022, she took a year away from the firm to travel and gain international legal experience, volunteering with a refugee legal centre in Greece and working for a leading corporate immigration firm in Canada. Eliza rejoined CFIL in 2024.
Eliza has experience across a broad range of migration matters, including protection, partner, family, humanitarian, student and skilled visa applications. She has also represented clients in complex matters involving identity issues, visa cancellations, tribunal review proceedings and ministerial intervention requests.
Eliza understands that navigating Australia’s complex migration system can be a stressful experience for clients. For this reason, she makes sure to handle every matter with compassion and sensitivity. Eliza approaches every file with care and diligence, ensuring the best possible outcomes for her clients.
Outside of work, Eliza enjoys travelling, dancing, playing with her dog, and is learning Farsi.
