Lawyer
Liana is a passionate immigration lawyer who is dedicated to achieving successful outcomes for clients.
Liana holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Criminology from La Trobe University and has completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at Leo Cussen Centre for Law. During her studies, Liana demonstrated her commitment to human rights and social justice. She was actively involved in volunteer work at various legal organisations, including the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, Jobwatch and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission.
Liana was first admitted as a practising lawyer in October 2022 and quickly commenced her career within the immigration law space. Prior to joining CFIL, Liana worked at a known migration law firm where she represented clients at the primary application stage and at the review stage. Liana is accustomed to working on sensitive matters and is committed to leading with empathy and compassion to provide excellent legal representation.
Liana is actively increasing her knowledge in citizenship, employer-sponsored, skilled, partner, student visas as well as refugee and protection matters en route to achieving her career ambition of becoming an LIV Accredited Immigration Law Specialist.
