Lawyer
Matt Parry is a dedicated and compassionate immigration lawyer. Since joining Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers in January 2025, Matt has contributed to successful outcomes across a broad range of matters, including Protection, Partner, Employer-Sponsored, and Student visas, as well as Section 501 visa cancellation cases.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Matt's professional career commenced working at a migration agency specialising in protection matters, where he assisted clients at the primary stage through to ministerial intervention. His role involved navigating Australia's intricate migration system, ensuring clients received compassionate and sensitive support during stressful and challenging times.
Matt is passionate about social justice, having volunteered at a Community Legal Centre, where he focused on protection claims. He has also volunteered with CARAD, a refugee charity, advocating for the rights of displaced individuals and supporting vulnerable communities.
