Lawyer
Sadiqa was admitted to the Supreme Court of Victoria as a legal practitioner in December 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Finance) from Deakin University. Sadiqa joined CFIL in 2025 as a Lawyer.
Sadiqa has a strong foundation in immigration law and passion for client focus legal practice. She has worked in family, visitor, citizenship and humanitarian visa matters, bringing several years as a paralegal and junior lawyer. She has also completed internships in range of legal areas including venture law clinic, commercial law and policy law experiences, further broadening her legal skills.
Her passion for immigration law stems from her own refugee background from Afghanistan, where she has witnessed firsthand challenges and complexities faced by immigrants. She is driven to work on complex matters within Immigration law and strives to help people navigate through the migration process with care and clarity.
Sadiqa is fluent in Dari and Hazaraghi, and has functional proficiency in Farsi, Urdu and Hindi.
