Siobhain Galea, Associate Lawyer

Siobhain first joined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers as a legal practitioner in 2022, having previously worked for several years in court and migration review tribunal roles. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Laws with First Class Honours from the University of Tasmania, and most recently took a year away from practice to obtain an Advanced Masters in Public International Law from Leiden University in the Netherlands. She rejoined Carina Ford Immigration Lawyers in late 2025 as an Associate Lawyer.

Siobhain has a deep commitment to clients and is passionate about justice for refugees and asylum seekers. She has experience in a range of migration matters, including partner, family, protection, humanitarian, visitor and skilled visas. She has also strongly advocated for clients in character cancellation matters, tribunal appeals, and ministerial intervention requests. Siobhain is dedicated to helping clients achieve the best outcomes for themselves and their families, ensuring that they feel heard and supported in the process.

Outside of work, Siobhain enjoys reading, climbing, and playing violin in a community orchestra.
